Beautiful me: 21 days beauty challenge

hey, sorry for the long absence and the reason is the academic pressure,we had cardiology classes so was a little busy with that...and this only made me think of a new challenge to improve my skin condition...

why the beauty challenge?
like all the girls(may be majority)i too started having pimples from teenage and ya due to stupidity i always used to touch them with fingers and ya even press them and do all kinds of weird things to it..they got angry everytime and leaved me with a black scar...and to myyy i m suffering with recent acne breakouts and to top it they are even painful..so with all these acne n their horrendous scars i thought why not give a decent try at giving them a nice bye-bye...

why 21 days?
i read somewhere that for a thought to cultivate into a regular habit,it takes 21 days....you heard it right!!!when you follow a new thought religiously for 21 days it will adjust itself into your daily routine and in due time will be your proud habit...

what will we do these 21 days?
Basically i had this eye to beauty articles, tips, home remedies, product reviews from my schooling days and it just got doubled after i started reading all the lovely beauty blogs  this year but when i gave a serious thought of why is my skin in this bad condition in spite of me knowing everything to improve it...i found my answer!!!we in general read all the beauty articles, sometimes we even write them, save them but most of the times we just feel too lazy to actually try them on regular basis....i m a maniac in this aspect,i sometimes apply 2-3 facepacks on a single day when i m inspired or go weeks altogether without a single pack...so i thought why not brush up all the beauty knowledge we learned all these years and religiously follow it for 21 days to make them habits for life

what topics do we cover here?
we will start here as a beginner to skin care, learn everything to maintain healthy beautiful skin like ctm, face packs, facials, manicures, pedicures, massages and everything that makes us more beautiful...its just my skin but better

TOPICS:
Day 1- cleansing
Day 2-toning
Day 3-exfoliation

ty so much for your luv,
ciao

Yanmark festival of ukraine

As you all know,i m doing my medicine in ukraine(its an eastern european country). The people here celebrate a yanmark festival annually in this time of the year..it starts with a huge gathering who celebrate the spirit of ukraine with cultural activities, official and political speeches and finally exhibition.
this year the gathering was huge than ever...
there was a huge huge gathering and all the cultural performances for a couple of hours, then we moved on to the more exciting part the exhibition..all kinds of stuff is exhibited like the traditional ukranian dresses, their arts and crafts, home decor, fashion stuff clothes, shoes awesome jackets, then comes the never ending chain of food stalls...
the food stalls serve all kinds of ukranian food like different salads, awesome shashlik(they call kabobs like that)..the kabobs are worth everything, beer, icecreams, pastries, cakes and all..
the kabobs really need a special mention..they are yummilicious and a musthave in this festival...the ukranian ppl are very good at living life care-free.they just never over-work,spend most of the money they earn not like us indians who save for rainy day (though i love this character of ours the most),they drink like there is no next hour...they basically enjoy life
I had a great time with my friends munching on mushroom flavour popkorn, ate yummilicious chicken kabobs with multivitamin fruit juice and ya bought myself a flower pot and fab earrings...

How to drink water??? and day 1

The title may sound bizarre and you may feel i m crazy(wtf, now u will tell us how to drink our water,,wats wrong with these bloggers???)well,no..i m in my full senses..drinking water may not be as simple as we all believe..our body reacts to excess water that causes water retension in different ways. The most common effects may be weakening of bones, muscle cramps, joint pains, aches in the body, shooting pain in the muscles, internal organs may be damaged, infections, high bloodpressure, constipation, make u put on weight, bloating etc may occur.for this you need not keep drinking buckets of water but just regulate the good 3-4 lit of water you take daily in a proper fashion so that you can be benefited...i already shared the importance of water for weightloss here

IDEAL WAY

  • 1 lit of lukewarm water immediately after you wake-up(before brushing your teeth)
  • 1 glass: 20 min after breakfast
  • 1 glass:before lunch
  • 1 glass:after lunch
  • 2 glasses: 20 min before exercising
  • sip water during workout, dont gulp or over drink
  • 3 glasses: after workout
  • 1 glass:before teatime
  • 1 glass:before dinner
  • 1 glass: after dinner
  • 1-2 glasses before sleeping
  • carry around your favourite water bottle to work and sip whenever needed and keep refilling it  .

you may find it difficult in the starting but it just takes a few days and you will be habituated to have your daily water intake in a perfectly healthy way..yay!!!

DAY 1
1.i could just complete 20% of my todays academic goals(will do better tomorrow)

2.Body:
I just took a 20 min walk today...my acne is getting worse.i tried honey mask today, details are
Face mask for clear,glowing skin:
in 1 teaspoon of honey add a pinch of homemade haldi/turmeric and few drops of lemon juice.apply this mixure all over the face and neck, leave it on.after 20 mins wet your hands and gently massage the face with mask for a minute and then wash off with lukewarm water.this will add  glow to your face...

how much water do you drink daily?do you agree with this way of water intake?is there a better way??what should we do for this stupid acne???

R.I.P Steve Jobs

Here are some key quotes from Steve Jobs, the legendary co-founder and former chief executive of Apple Inc, who died on Wednesday after a years-long battle with cancer.

"I don't think I've ever worked so hard on something, but working on Macintosh was the neatest experience of my life. Almost everyone who worked on it will say that. None of us wanted to release it at the end.
It was as though we knew that once it was out of our hands, it wouldn't be ours anymore. When we finally presented it at the shareholders' meeting, everyone in the auditorium stood up and gave it a 5-minute ovation. What was incredible to me was that I could see the Mac team in the first few rows. It was as though none of us could believe that we'd actually finished it. Everyone started crying."

"Here's to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes... the ones who see things differently -- they're not fond of rules... You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can't do is ignore them because they change things... they push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do"

"And it comes from saying no to 1,000 things to make sure we don't get on the wrong track or try to do too much. We're always thinking about new markets we could enter, but it's only by saying no that you can concentrate on the things that are really important."

"It's really hard to design products by focus groups. A lot of times, people don't know what they want until you show it to them."
"Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of other's opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary."

"My position coming back to Apple was that our industry was in a coma. It reminded me of Detroit in the '70s, when American cars were boats on wheels."

Reply to New York Times Reporter who asked about his health "You think I'm an arrogant (expletive) who thinks he's above the law, and I think you're a slime bucket who gets most of his facts wrong."

Small number of people who can change people thinking and lifestyle, steve jobs one of this people. Love or hate him, you can't deny his influence on modern culture. RIP Mr Steve Jobs.
