An awesome day-out with friends...part 2: eating out!!!

hello guys..how r you all doing???

In continuation with yesterdays bowling post, after bowling and playing for three hours we as usual felt hungry and went to this awesome place called EFES, a Turkish dining place. We ordered like crazyyyy and I was soo busy eating them that I forgot to take pics of all the dishes..heres some pics…

*seasons pizza with chicken,cheese , mushrooms, onion ,corn

had two other chicken pizzas that i forgot to take pics of....

overall nice evening spent with good food and great friends...

i think this will be the end to our celebrations..oh wait we planning on the coming friday biryani night...i will surly cry once the new semester starts!!

An awesome day-out with friends...part 1: bowling!!!

hello friends….how are you all doing?? As we got one week holidays for the new year cum Christmas combo….me with my friends decided to make the fullest use of them and in this process we decided today to get out of the hostel rooms and try to chill in the cold weather….

After few minutes of discussion we planned on going for  cosmic bowling and then do some dining out at a nice turkish place ..it was the first time for me. I m so happy for going as I had a lot of fun with bowling…i played the most with the 6 kg ball…oh god they are sooo heavy…I almost cant move my fingers right now!!!

To get more out of the game we challenged each other and guess what I came third in the game with five of us..not bad for a first time right???!!! Ihad lots of fun…

Then we went to this game place called Gemini and played s some stupid small games like kids…as long as we enjoy,theres no problem na! wat say guys…

what are your experiences with bowling...what category do you fall in strikersss or beginners like me???

New year 2012 celebrations: Food

Hello guys…how was your new year???mine was superb…actually one of my friends birthday also falls on new year day so it’s a double dhamaka for us…we celebrate it with double josh!!!and you all know how it is to be away from home(sad!! Me)..more than anything we all miss food and compensate that we always keep trying new recipes and altogether new dishes for all occasions..thats a great way to enjoy our  time here rather than going out in this freaking  snow fall…

this is the whole chicken we cooked on stove which was nicely marinated before...and it tasted yummmm!!!very much better than the ones we buy from the grilled section....

This new year plus birthday party also we gave most of the importance to foooood and heres what we all came up with..enjoy the pics:

Other than food we also had a blast in the midnight partying, wishing everyone in the hostel, I tried dancing for the first time in my life(all the credit goes to the music system we had..its freaking loud), ofcourse ate, played for sometime and had a wonderful time!!it was just perfecttt…I really loved the way it turned out….hope this full year will be like that…..i m sooo tired todayyy….just lying around from morning on the bed…

Yanmark festival of ukraine

As you all know,i m doing my medicine in ukraine(its an eastern european country).The people here celebrate a yanmark festival annually in this time of the year..it starts with a huge gathering who celebrate the spirit of ukraine with cultural activities, official and political speeches and finally exhibition.
this year the gathering was huge than ever...

there was a huge huge gathering and all the cultural performances for a couple of hours,then we moved on to the more exciting part the exhibition..all kinds of stuff is exhibited like the traditional ukranian dresses,their arts and crafts,home decor,fashion stuff clothes,shoes awesome jackets,then comes the never ending chain of food stalls...

the food stalls serve all kinds of ukranian food like different salads,awesome shashlik(they call kabobs like that)..the kabobs are worth everything,beer,icecreams,pastries,cakes and all..

the kabobs really need a special mention..they are yummilicious and a musthave in this festival...the ukranian ppl are very good at living life care-free.they just never over-work,spend most of the money they earn not like us indians who save for rainy day (though i love this character of ours the most),they drink like there is no next hour...they basically enjoy life 

I had a great time with my friends munching on mushroom flavour popkorn,ate yummilicious chicken kabobs with multivitamin fruit juice and ya bought myself a flower pot and fab earrings...

p.s:its my 2nd challenge day but as u can see i was out all the day and didnt even touch my goals so its 0% for today..i ll be back with a bang tomorrow i hope!!!
